We rank the software you actually run.
Duhari is an independent review platform for field-service software. We test every tool hands-on, run a real week of jobs through it, and score it on one public 40-point rubric, so an HVAC, roofing or plumbing shop can pick software in an afternoon instead of a month of demos. We also build free cost calculators for the jobs your customers google before they call.
Why we built Duhari
The trades get sold software the same way they get sold everything else: by whoever has the biggest ad budget. The existing directories are useful, but most rank tools by vendor spend and self-reported feature lists, and the demos are run by salespeople who never have to use the product on a Tuesday in someone’s driveway.
We got tired of watching good shops buy the wrong platform, lose a season to a tool their techs would not open, and end up back on paper. Duhari exists to give the trades an honest, hands-on answer to one question: which software is actually worth paying for.
What we do
Two things. We test and rank the software that runs field-service businesses, on one 40-point rubric that is published in full, and we build free cost calculators for the jobs your customers google before they call. Everything is organized by trade and by function, so you can go straight to the shortlist that fits your shop.
How we test every tool
No spec-sheet reviews, no borrowed vendor accounts. Every tool goes through the same hands-on process before it earns a score, and each score is re-checked against the rubric before anyone reads it.
Every tool is set up on the plan a real shop would use. No sandbox with the limits removed, no vendor accounts.
Quoting, scheduling, dispatch, invoicing and payments, on the desktop and in the field app.
One public rubric for every tool, weighted toward what a crew touches every day.
Each result is re-checked against the fixed rubric before it goes live, so nothing ships on a first pass.
The 40-point rubric
Every tool is scored on the same seven areas, weighted toward the parts of the job that actually cost you time and money. Scheduling, estimating and invoicing carry the most weight because that is where a field-service business lives or dies. The full weighting and a worked example are on the methodology page.

What we cover
Duhari is organized by the trade you run and the function you are buying for. We are early and adding tools by demand, so coverage grows every month.
Plus 23 free cost calculators for tree removal, roofing, HVAC, cleaning, pressure washing and more, and plain-English buyer guides on choosing, pricing and switching.
The people behind it
One standard behind every review
Duhari is a small, independent operation. Marko leads every review, and each score is re-checked against the same fixed 40-point rubric before it goes live, so nothing ships on a first pass or a gut feeling.
How we review →How we stay independent
Some links on Duhari are affiliate links, and if you buy through one we may earn a commission at no cost to you. That is the whole business model, and it never touches the rankings: we test every tool ourselves, and a commission never changes a score or a verdict. The tool that pays us the most can still rank last. The full breakdown is on our methodology page.
About Duhari FAQ
Is Duhari really independent?
Yes. We are not owned by a software vendor, and no vendor can buy a rank, a score or an award. Our only income is affiliate commission, which is fenced off from the reviews.
How does Duhari make money?
Affiliate links. If you buy a tool through us, the vendor may pay a commission at no cost to you. It never changes a ranking, and we test every tool ourselves regardless.
Who writes the reviews?
Our own team, led by founder Marko Ristic. Every tool is set up and run through a real week of field-service work before it is scored, and each score is re-checked against the rubric before it is final.
