Cookie Policy
Duhari uses only the cookies it needs to function, plus referral cookies that vendors set when you click out. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising. Duhari uses only the first kind, plus the affiliate referral cookies described below. A cookie can only be read back by the party that set it, and it holds an identifier or a small preference, not the contents of your device.
What we use
- Essential cookies. A session cookie and a security (CSRF) token that let forms and pages work safely. These are required for the site to function and cannot be turned off without breaking it.
- Preference, where used. If you set a preference such as a light or dark theme, we may store it so the site remembers it on your next visit.
The cost calculators run without storing tracking cookies. The inputs you choose are sent to our server to compute a range and are not tied to a profile or kept against your identity.
Cookies at a glance
We do not set any advertising, retargeting or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, this table and the effective date above are updated first.
Affiliate & referral cookies
When you click an outbound link to a software vendor or a local pro, that third party may set its own cookie to credit the referral. Those cookies are controlled by the third party under its own policy, not ours, and we never see the contents. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how the referral relationship works.
No advertising trackers
We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site ad trackers, and we do not load third-party analytics that profile you across sites. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Do Not Track
Because we do not track you across sites in the first place, there is nothing for a "Do Not Track" browser signal to switch off here. We honour the spirit of it by default: no cross-site profiling, no ad networks, no data sold.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and most browsers let you clear them per site. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as forms, from working. Since we run no ad trackers, there is very little here to opt out of beyond the essentials.
Changes
If our use of cookies changes, we will update this page and the effective date above so you can always see what is current.
